What's at stake RIGHT NOW

Tariffs that are now the biggest middle class tax hike in modern history are sending shockwaves across the economy. That pain could soon be worsened by huge cuts to health care - especially Medicaid - and inflationary tax breaks for the wealthy that grow the deficit. 

 

Instead of getting the lower prices we were promised, costs are now rising for everything from day-to-day needs like groceries and gas to big ticket items that are the gateway to the middle class, like a house or car. 

 

All over the country, small businesses are failing and manufacturing workers are being laid off. Critical services like Social Security are being taken apart.

 

Whether they are Republicans, Democrats, or anything else, millions of Americans are saying, “This is not what I was promised. My life is harder. My life is less affordable." 

 

And they're seeing Congress endorse policies that are making all of this worse.
